Juban

Juban 襦袢, meaning “undergarment”, are white undershirts worn beneath samue or kimono. As the juban is usually the innermost layer worn against the skin, it protects your outer garments from getting dirty and is easy to wash. A well-structured juban collar also provides the foundation for a neat and stable layer of outer collars.
