Nagajuban (Long Juban)

Long juban are simple, lightweight under-kimono worn beneath a standard kimono. Like the shirt-length versions, nagajuban have a reinforced neck yoke and machine sewn-in (non-removable) silky polyester overcollar. If you would like the option to remove and replace the overcollar when it wears out, choose the hand-sewn option below. Comes without ties.
As a traditional undergarment, nagajuban are intended only for pairing with kimono that do not have added side pleats. It is not possible to add side pleats to nagajuban, as it creates too much fabric bulk with all the layers together.
